About our Restaurant Our restaurant is located on the 4th floor of Unit No. 57, our well appointed Boutique Hotel. The restaurant is open for the use of resort guests and the public, tastefully furnished to seat up to 130 persons. We offer an International a La a Carte menu for Dinner service, designed and produced by our Executive Chef Scott Marquis and his talented staff. Our comprehensive menu will serve the finest local and international ingredients, and change throughout the year to take advantage of seasonal products and new inspirations. The dining menu is complemented by a fully stocked International wine cellar and bar with a wide range of cocktails and liquors. The restaurant is also equipped to serve both International and Vietnamese Buffet style meals for your wedding party, business meeting or other special functions. The dining area is divided between inside air-conditioned seating, and outdoor seating to enjoy the cool ocean breezes. The Restaurant at Dragon Resort Bong Lai offers stunning, panoramic 360° views of the Mountains meet the Ocean landscape of Central Vietnam. This spectacular view includes the immaculate grounds of Dragon Resort at Bong Lai, the Marble Mountains, Da Nang City, Dien Ban Beach, Cham Island, plus the two international golf courses next door: Montgomerie Links and Da Nang Golf Club; designed by golf legends Colin Montgomerie and Greg Norman, respectively.
About our Chef American Executive Chef Scott Marquis has 25+ years in the Hospitality/Culinary profession. He who has worked his way from across the USA, all the way from Maine to Alaska, including stops in Palm Beach, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas and Seattle, Washington. While owning small restaurants in Maine, Scott was featured in various print and internet publications, including the New York Times in August 2002. Since 2007, Scott has traveled extensively in Thailand, Cambodia, India, Singapore and Vietnam, tasting and learning the delicious tastes and myriad flavors of SE Asia. Since his permanent move to Vietnam in October 2008, Scott has worked both in Ha Noi and Hoi An, and traveled and eaten extensively in HCMC and Nha Trang. Our commitment to excellence at Dragon Resort Bong Lai is ongoing, and Scott has been appointed to oversee the restaurant and help us achieve our goals.
